Our Talisman - Didier Drogba

Didier Drogba Chelsea's Talisman has decided to leave Chelsea FC and its been hard to accept that decision as he has been our main man, always bringing Chelsea out of difficult situations but we have to respect his decision.He is going but he has given us the ultimate gift we always wanted - The Champions League.



So I would bring you the top five most important goals he scored that has won us many trophies.

1. Equalizing Goal and the Winning Penalty Against Bayern

Chelsea were trailing 1-0 and with that their hopes of winning the Champions league final was looking bleak and then came the man called Drogba who from nowhere hit a powerful header past Neuer to bring Chelsea back in to the game.He then converted the decisive penalty to win Chelsea their maiden Champions League title.








2. Winning Goal against Manchester United in the 2007 FA Cup final 


The game was heading towards penalties as both sides fail to score any goal and then after a neat one two pass with Frank Lampard, Drogba scored the winning goal beating Edwin Van Der Sar with four minutes left and thus winning the cup for Chelsea.




3. Winning Goal against Arsenal in the 2009 FA Cup Semifinal 


The game had been locked at 1-1 and was heading towards extra time when Drogba beat Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski to Frank Lampard's long ball to put Chelsea again in the FA Cup final against Everton.



4. Winning Goal against Liverpool in the 2012 FA Cup final


Chelsea were leading 1-0 thanks to Ramires goal and Drogba collected a pass from Lampard and drilled it passed Pepe Reina and Skrtel to hand Chelsea a decisive 2-0 lead early in the second half.Although Andy Caroll pulled a goal back but Chelsea hold on to register their first trophy under interim manager Roberto Di Matteo.



5.  Goal against Liverpool in the 2009 Champions League Quaterfinal 2nd leg


Liverpool were leading 2-0 and were 3-3 on aggregate and Chelsea desperately needed a goal and then Drogaba  produced a shot from narrowest of angle which Pepe Reina failed to stop.That was a decisive goal as Chelsea looked more confident and controlled the game and at the end the crazy game ended in a 4-4 draw.
